List of bootlegs where a full album was played....

I'm looking to get the bootlegs where an album was played in full. I know Binaural was played in Toronto last  year and Ten in Philly....does anyone know the others off hand? I just renewed my 10c membership and I'm itching for a new bootleg. Also up for suggestions for that.

    Ten: 1992-03-13 Munich // 2016-04-29 Philadelphia, PA
    Vs.: 2016-04-16 Greenville, SC
    Vitalogy: ???

    Pearl Jam: 2006-09-19 Torino

I think that was the final list. I guess Vitalogy would be nearly impossible unless they skip the filler tracks. I would like to see  it and Riot Act though. I could have swore they did Backspacer but not 100%. Thank you for your help.

All of Vitalogy would be awesome if they played Foxymop in between the main set and encore (i.e. closing first set with Immortality). They can figure something out with Aye Davanita and Pry To

I believe this is the correct answer with all the full album shows. Happy to have been at one. I'll be jealous when I most likely miss vitalogy if they ever do it.

Foxymop in between sets is a great idea. They could use Pry To as the walk on music (that would blow people's minds!) Isn't that what they did with Red Dot? Surely they could figure out how to pay Aye Davanita live just one time...

I never got why people are so intrigued by Pearl Jam playing studio albums in order live. One of the greatest things about a Pearl Jam show is that they are so unpredictable. Playing a studio album is the definition of predictable.

I just want the boots mainly. I think it's part of the unpredictableness going in. Yeah you'll know the next song 10 or 11 times but you still have 20 that you have no idea. If they only played 15-20 it wouldn't be as cool but I'd sacrifice a third of a setlist to see a full album.

I tend to agree. Why not just scatter every song from a particular album throughout the whole setlist?

It's a cool concept - especially since they aren't doing a full tour of the same album. The setlists come at random, and with no warning. And lets face it, it's fucking epic to think that you could get: Can't Keep, Ghost, Thumbing, You Are, Get Right, Green Disease, Help Help, Bushleaguer, Arc and All or None in one show.

  • I believe the fact that they play full studio albums substantiates their variety of unpredictable set lists. Although a full studio album being played in order seems predictable after the fact, or on paper, there is certainly an element of doubt that the next song from an album will be played. I, for one, would imagine that experiencing a full album being played live, and in order, would be a surreal experience.

I agree with you about this. The album shows are my least favorite bootlegs.

I have never been to a full album show but I can imagine there's some sort of excitement when you hear track 1 and 2 in a row. I wonder at what point will the band decide to play like the first 5 tracks and then stop playing anything else from that album to just mess with everyone.

I will say that out of all the album shows, my favorite is Milwaukee 10/20/2014. Binaural is my favorite PJ studio record, but the "Yieldwaukee" show has a really nice flow to it.

i always thought it would be a bit hokey to play a full album but I was lucky to be at Greenville for VS and Phily II for Ten and both just blew me away.  I think it's better when not announced as opposed to announcing it ahead of time like U2 and the Joshua Tree.  I can say of the 27 PJ shows i've seen there has never been a more chilling and exciting moment when they kicked into Alive at the 4/29/16 show pretty much confirming Ten.  Just typing it gave me goosebumps again.

There was a massive buzz at Moline. My buddies eyes were plate sized when they dropped In My Tree and the 10 club portion of the crowd realized it was happening
