I was just thinking about this and what was so impressive about her yesterday was her ability to formulate clear and understandable answers. Which isn't something we should have to set as a standard. We're so used to double talk, nonsense and outright lies that it's refreshing to hear someone who actually knows what they are talking about and is truthful.HughFreakingDillon said:

to me it wasn't just that. it was that she had a rebuttal for every single point, without having to take a break to do any research. someone that prepared on the minutiae of the constitution should be heralded.tbergs said:

as much as I want to believe this is the beginning of the end, do we really believe that trump wasn't shielded from any possible proof of knowledge? i'm not saying he's brilliant, but you can't just pull this stuff off being an amateur, and I can't imagine they'd be dumb enough to leave a paper trail that leads back to Trump.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

I was wondering that today.. are they that stupid or do they think that we're that stupid? But then I read an article in Politico today where the WH thought that Democrats and Republicans would both applaud the termination and this blow back is taking them by surprise. So the answer is... they're that fucking stupid.dignin said:

I wonder the same. I think I would have more concern if Trump was loyal to those who are loyal to him, but if he keeps firing everyone who does his dirty work, he won't have anybody to protect him from himself. Somebody has legitimate dirt on him, at this point it seems likely that he will fire one of the wrong people at some point.HughFreakingDillon said:as much as I want to believe this is the beginning of the end, do we really believe that trump wasn't shielded from any possible proof of knowledge? i'm not saying he's brilliant, but you can't just pull this stuff off being an amateur, and I can't imagine they'd be dumb enough to leave a paper trail that leads back to Trump.

Arrogance and pride almost always lead to the downfall of any person who has every had this type of power and abused it. Nixon was a smart guy, but you get greedy and start pushing the envelope more and more. It's hard covering your tracks everyday. We will never fully know the extent of what has gone on and it may well be only a minor part of it that takes down the whole shit show.mrussel1 said:
