US. Would have to be the Carolinas.. such insanely gorgeous lands out there, or here in Colorado. Jaw dropping beauty here.. unlike anywhere else I have been.
International.
The only place comes to mind is Haiti. There was the most beautiful hidden beach, and I was just astounded that it was so beautiful.. crazy jungles and you just exited the dark jungle and climbed down a cliff, and there was THE most incredible beach head!! When the tide rolled out, there was a vegetative sand bar.. I walked out to it, and I sat there alone, and ate my lunch.. then I swam with Nurse sharks, and let them tow me around the sand bar.. I watched/ paid a kid to dive for a conch shell, still have it.. one of the neatest places I have been.0 -
maui and new orleans are tied and for 2 very different reasons...a close 3rd/4th would be denver and california
maui has the best snorkeling i have ever experienced. schools of colorful fish 30ft from the shore and turtles, whales, volcanoes and sunsets
new orleans is the greatest city in the USA but only if you love food, music and drinking alcohol
international- i've been blessed to have been in a 5-7 european countries, including england and sweden but for me the best times i've had were in amsterdam but that country doesn't have the mountains that austria/switzerland has!0 -
Helpless, with you on Europe! I think my favorites were Venice/Murano and Lichtenstein. And Vienna.
Fuck, Lyon and Biarritz too.
US-wise, still have much to see. New York so far, for family and pizza.0 -
Oh but I wish to see so
Much more of this beautiful planet we live on!0 -
US: San Diego...we try to go every year & would love to retire there!
INT: Costa Rica. We went there for our honeymoon & my wife doesn't know that we're going back for our 10 year anniversary next year!I LOVE MUSIC.

Vienna was awesome, but Innsbruck smacked it down and put it out in the rain!hedonist said:Helpless, with you on Europe! I think my favorites were Venice/Murano and Lichtenstein. And Vienna.

My goodness, that is beautiful, gambo.
And I visited Innsbruck too!
I was fortunate to do one of those Yer-a-peein' tours in my early 20s. A whirlwind except for the "days off" but man, such beauty of people and environment was such an amazing experience, especially at that age.0 -
Awesome! Bolzano was great too! The ridgeline I am on in that photo is the one that stands right above Innsbruck. As you stand in the square looking at the Golden Roof, the skyline you see is this traversible ridge of awesomeness.hedonist said:My goodness, that is beautiful, gambo.
