    Hops and Cannabis have common some terpines, so they definitely can have similar smell and taste. Until DNA sequencing in the late 1990's/early 2000's they were thought to be in the same family (or Order) based on their smell, taste and leaf structure. But things were reclassified once DNA hit the scene. Regardless, they do have terpines in common, so they seem like a natural combination to me!
