Anyone use Presto Magic in the early 80's? I've tried to find these in all sorts of retro shops to no avail..
Oh does that bring back memories (though from the 70s...early 70s, I believe )
Wow.. really? I was born in late 72 and remember doing these when I was about 10. I feel like we bought them from the drug store or something. I loved them. My favorite was the Scooby-Doo and then there was a sweet Battle of the Midway one too.
I just looked on Ebay and there was a "Superman Saves Metropolis" one available, which was also a masterpiece.

One of my favorite board games from wa-a-ay back (and I believe it is still made!):
But the one I really want which I have not found at anything close to reasonable in price is Elmer Wheeler's Fat Boys game. Not so much for the excitement of the game as for sheer nostalgia!

This was the first time I heard of Bruce as a kid. Not Moonlighting or Die Hard but this. Good thing he stuck to his day job.

I wanted one so bad when I was 9 but I knew I couldn't have it because I was too young to stay up that late.

Do families still get together and play those?

I still have a Scrabble from the 70's, with those smooth wooden tiles.
