    It's often been suggested to me that I take things too seriously and I imagine I am frequently thought of as a boring killjoy :smile: At the same time, it occurs to me that if I didn't care so much about certain principles and views that I hold, then perhaps life wouldn't hold much meaning for me at all. So if ever I wake up one day and simply don't give a shit, there probably wouldn't be any point even getting out of bed. Yet I find myself feeling like I have to apologise for who I am. I really can't win can I? I do envy those people who just seem to glide through life, getting on with everyone and gathering to them an army of friends. I think I was born to be a hermit, a very opinionated hermit :tongue:

    The newest employee where I work, just got fired today. He was a no call, no show two weekends in a row. TOTAL BS.. why even go get a job, if you've no interest in showing up??? I don't get young folks these days( oh Gees, I seriously just said that!!)... there's such poor work ethic in these kids. so.. now I have no idea if I work tomorrow.. I hate that.

    Ps @jnimhaoileoin an army of friends is dangerous. It usually happens to those that are easily swayed, as the masses in general seek those that are easy to follow. Just know that the character you possess is greater than anything an army of friends could provide. I will choose a person of character over a person of many friends, any day.

    Ummm it snowed so much overnight... that they closed LIBRARIES! lol I woke up to 22 news alerts telling of closures... we're at18" where I am in COS... this wanes off this afternoon.. but then 8pm to 4 am.. MORE SNOW!! kinda love that this state has such crazy weather!! And.. I am off work today!! Yay!!
