What membership number or lower by a educated guess does it take to get good seats for a tour in the US?

Kind of a hard question to answer. The best "seats" in the house imo are GA and have no seniority so anyone can get those. If you want to be close and on the wings under the reserved seats then you are going to have to ask someone else on that but really what is a bad seat aside from floor behind the GA?

150,000 - first 5 rows floor, stage level close to the stage wings.

I had floor behind GA in Tampa last tour and it was awesome. I don't think there are any "bad" Ten Club tickets.

I haven't the foggiest clue what my member number is. Where is that little tidbit on info to be found?

Go to the home page, then click on my account on the top of the page. Then once in there, on the left is membership, click on that, and your member info will come up, along with your #.

    Depends on the venue.
I'm 184xxx but am in Boston where everyone wants to see the band.
That tends to move you back some, because people will fly in from all over to see he band here.
At a less popular city, I'd be much closer.
I was just about dead center, half way back between the stage and the sound board for both Fenway shows.

My number is 349xxx and I've had the following
GA rail, about 2 rows back, about 10 rows back, and back of GA
Seats were 2 rows behind GA section in Vancouver 2013, about 25 rows back floor in Columbus OH 2010, back of floor on risers at MSG 2008.
You won't get rail or up close without doing your time in line. But if you go shortly after doors open with GA you could be about 10 rows back or so.

See, now, I am a touch over 5' tall but I am happy to be in any seat. Just happy to be there. I wasn't in the front row at Wrigley but I was in the middle of the field. It was a great place to be!

Wasn't saying that you shouldn't be happy to be in the building but some seats are great and some are not. If you are 20th row on the floor behind GA and are 5 feet tall then I would consider those not so great seats when compared to seats that are stage level and on the wings.

You have to win the 10c ticket lottery first to be able to even get tickets. Then your membership number will come into play

    You're at a PJ concert! :)

It's the seat that's right behind where you are standing that's still folded up.

Before GA I was usually seated between rows 12 and 24 on the floor (usually closer in Vancouver than Seattle). My # is 164xxx.

I've only had GA tickets from the 10c since the lotto system. Vancouver '13, and Wrigley. I skunked on Seattle '13. I'm not sure where my seats would be now. I imagine somewhat close to the GA section, as a # of people with lower #'s would now be in the pit instead of seated.

In respect to floor. At 6'2 I find 20th row in an arena to be the threshold for how back I want to sit on the floor. After row 20, even at my height it gets hard to see. The angle with the stage gets too low and almost everything blocks it. At that point I'd rather be in the wings. Side stage tickets are my favorite non-floor tickets :)

Probably a dumb question but, does your membership number stay the same or do you "move up" if people ahead of you choose not to renew?

Well said, sometimes just being in the building is good enough! My seats at Wrigley weren't great, but I was able to mostly see and fully hear an amazing concert!

I wasn't on the field at Fenway. My seats would have been killer if they were playing baseball.

Stadium shows are a whole different ballgame (no pun intended) when it comes to priority seating based on seniority. I have a good ten club number, but this will be my first stadium lottery.  I have been extremely lucky at arena shows, have had some awesome first level, side stage seats, which IMO are better than most floor seats/GA.  Should be interesting to see how I fare this time.

I bought Wrigley 1 tickets from a friend with maybe a 1994/5 #. At Wrigley, our reserved seats were on the field, just right of center. They went on reserved seats from maybe a 1992 #. I think that they were 10 rows or a few less from the pit.

139,xxx and I’m almost always in the first section on the side. Before GA I was always between row 5 and 12 on floor. When you could only by tix for one show a tour I was second row.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
