this is completely out of control

Seriously. This is what happens between tours.
I dunno though, I prefer it to the inevitable strife that comes with every tour.

The people quitting 10c when they miss out on tickets because they didn't read how the lottery works

The people quitting 10c because the tickets are too expensive and that "goes against everything the band ever stood for"

The log time members who aren't quitting but have to get it out there that seniority is worthless now

The arguments over GA vs seated

    The setlist complaints

    And on and on lol
I remember when a dime bag only cost a dime

That makes me want to take a nap.

The dude who takes a picture of you and your son and posts it on Facebook to start a debate over how young is too young for a PJ concert, and hundreds of comments ensue with many insults, many supporters and a large contingent of people who think it is a fake baby for smuggling booze in and getting a tambourine...

Maybe that one is specific to me lol

Do they make fake babies for booze smuggling? I need this for Spring Training games at $12.50 a beer. Ticket to get in is only $8
I believe the consensus was that it was a custom job, apparently I had MacGyvered it up so the head was full of booze.

The Creed hate gets a little out of hand around here, especially for a community that musters so much love for Guns n Roses!

And Beastie Boys!! If you genuinely enjoy listening to the Beastie Boys, you forfeit your right to criticize anything. Ever.

I was a toddler back then. Everything current was shit when I was coming up, but I had the fortune of seeing the great music of the late 80's and early 90's through a more distilled lens, the wheat had been separated from the chaff so I wasn't sentimentally attached to what was obviously chaff.

Yeah, I thought the Beastie Boy comment came from left field too. Usually rgambs is spot on with all his comments.
    Trolling maybe?
    Beastie Boys are awesome.

I can't handle any more clever Creed or Nickleback jokes involving Pearl Jam. To quote Cosmo Karmer, "sooo played."

Perhaps they are, I haven't run into anyone who wasn't between the ages of 12 and 24 at the time who likes their sounds, but surely there must be an odd duck out there who does.

Beastie Boys have sold 50 million albums worldwide - that's a lot of "odd ducks"... (btw I'm 40 and love them!)

Bizarre comment in an increasingly bizarre thread.

Amen! It actually took me until my 30's to realize what a masterpiece Paul's Boutique is even though I had owned it for 15 years. The groove and sampling is perfection.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Creed on their best day never touched beastie boys on their worst. that is the only time the two should be mentioned in the same sentence. Why is this happening?
"Well, I think this band is incapable of sucking."
-my dad after hearing Not for You for the first time on SNL .
  • Creed covering a Beastie Boy song would be interesting since they already have PJ covered.
Sabotage would sound kinda cool sung by Creed.
  • This is an inflammatory post
