The Page/Crowes is supposedly from Jones Beach. Sweet if true, but I'm not holding my breath that it's anything officially released. Seems like typical bootleg material.

Has RSD sold/advertised bootleg vinyl? Never heard of that. This one is on my short list of wants. Hope it's a sign that TBC may be working things out.

Not that I know of. Just some speculation. That show is widely bootlegged, pro shot video and soundboard audio. I'm wondering if somebody seen it was being put out and lumped it in with the rest of the RSD releases. Doesn't seem like the TBC camp has been working anything out and I think coordinating a release with Jimmy Page and the record company headaches would be damn near impossible.

I think I'm totally fine not going this year. There's going to be so many of those pj 7" floating around @5000 copies I'm not worried. And dmb I don't really care about, I wasn't at that show anyway. Tosh album I'll buy a non rsd version, the moe. live I'll find afterwards. So glad this shit is getting behind me now, too many years buying stuff I've listened to like 3x. Have fun those who go though, but I'm so proud to have climbed the hurdle on this whole thing.
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

    +1

But I have to say (or maybe I should wait for the final list for a better description), how is this release any different than the reissue that came out last fall?

Honestly, you would never need another release after this.

Live release wise, yeah. Though I'd buy Chicago 98 because I was there.

New to the area so just wanted to ask how busy do Seattle area shops get? You get people lining up night before and stuff? Any alternative to Easy Street? Search brought up way too many record stores. Which any other time is a good problem to have.

    Thanks for any help...

Yeah, the popular independents will have lines, but that is because they also get stock. So for Seattle your best bets are:
    Easy Street
    Sonic Boom
    Silver Platters
and perhaps Everyday Music, but I've never been there on RSD, so don't know.

Never been to Everyday Music in Seattle, but I can say that they get a very full stock on RSD here in Portland.

Glad to see the DMB Red Rocks is a RSD first also. I don't care anything about the silver vinyl. Will wait for the black. That is how I have all the other Live Trax releases anyway.

So this will be sold on the dmb web site eventually?
