Looks like Ticketmaster general sale in Ireland will be €60 each. How can the 10C justify the pre-sale price?!23/8/06.

I mean I WANT to go - as no PJ UK this year - Soundgarden have stolen Matt, but Hammersmith isn't worth that - sorry.0

Also the seats aren't even select/reserved you're just getting best available. Seems pretty poor as you could end up anywhere 'near the stage'.0

Tickets are £95 on Ticketmaster for the London shows, which I think is outrageous.
Zero chance I'm paying that.

£100 each!?! Sorry Eddie everybody loves you but I'm not doing this. It was around £50 when you played the same venue in 2012. If you hadn't noticed it's been pretty near zero inflation lately (it's not just the post Brexit £) Would like to see an explanation but shan't hold my breath. $50 annual 10C membership renewal and I'm starting to think this is no longer value for money. Bye Bye 10C after over 15 years?0

Tickets range from £61.75 - £94.75 on Ticketmaster.
£100 for the presale is outrageous. I entered the lottery draw but I've since changed my mind and withdrawn my entry. I'd pay it for PJ, but not for Ed solo.2006: London Astoria, Lisbon I & II, Paris, Verona, Milano2007: Wembley, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Nijmegen2009: Manchester2010: Belfast, Berlin2012: Manchester I & II2014: Leeds, Milton Keynes2018: Amsterdam I, Prague, Krakow, Berlin, Barcelona, London

Ticket Prices are way above what it`s worth for me.More than 100 EUR for a solo Show is nearly 40 - 50 % more than i paid for PJ last tour.
Maybe he is financing a european vacacion with his whole family. What`s so expensive? There`s no big stage neccessary, not much equipment and a small crew around.
No thanks!0 -
Which tour was this?SK244728 said:Ticket Prices are way above what it`s worth for me.More than 100 EUR for a solo Show is nearly 40 - 50 % more than i paid for PJ last tour.

I've just been looking over my account and tickets for their last UK shows were $211 for Leeds and $246 for Milton Keys so if you take an average between the two that's a 16% increase in 3 years. It's a lot but a little over 5% a year inflation in a live music market that has gone astronomical over the past few years for any major act isn't that bad.
Don't get me wrong £95 for a show is a lot but I'm wondering if the prices have been set in dollars by whoevers organising the tour and the fact it seems like crazy money to us is more to do with the performance of the pound in recent years?
Just my thoughts anyway.

Think there will be a lot of empty seats in Dublin and Cork for these shows. 100 Euro for someone with very little presence over here as a solo artist is asking a lot.0

Doesn't Glen have a big presence though?Philip_Ireland said:Think there will be a lot of empty seats in Dublin and Cork for these shows. 100 Euro for someone with very little presence over here as a solo artist is asking a lot.

He's well known but would play small shows-venues holding about 1000. The 3 Arena holds about 15,000.Indifference said:

Absolutely gutted. No luck in the 10C pre-slae lottery and now no luck in the public sale. Ridiculous. Isn't the whole point of being a paying 10C member (over 10 years now) to eb able to get tickets to shows!

i have a spare 10c ticket for hammersmith 1 (face value) - my friend who was supposed to come now says it's too expensive for her after all, so if anyone is interested let me know."We have to change the concept of patriotism to one of “matriotism” — love of humanity that transcends war. Same as that. And it would be more understandable for five members (plus Boom) to warrant that money with all the additional equipment/personnel. But Ed on his own should not cost anything like this much. Really disappointed by this. The Rock said:Tickets range from £61.75 - £94.75 on Ticketmaster.
