    Typically... you're missing the point. He had every right to meet with the Russian diplomat. So did Flynn. But they were not honest in those dealings. So the question is...why??
    Flynn lied Pence. Sessions was intellectually dishonest in the hearings. And here's the thing. Anytime you go through a depo or any other proceeding like this, you have the opportunity to correct your answers. You get a copy of the testimony and you red line it. He didn't correct the record. That's the problem.

    When you take everything into context... election, trump candidacy, geo-political situation... it is absolutely about having the communications with the Russians as well as lying... there is a reason they are lying... there is a reason 5 Trump associates have had to resign/recuse due to nefarious relationships/dealings/conversations... there is a reason why every American intelligence agency says that Russia interfered in our elections with various forms of cyber attacks... Russian generated fake news... wiki leaks... the golden shower dossier...

    These were not "normal" conversations about the weather in Moscow... these were direct communications between Donald Trump & Vladimir Putin via surrogates in some form of quid pro quo negotiation/agreement/blackmail

    those with business interests in Russia have good reason for sanctions to be lifted... they also have good reason to have and maintain a favorable relationship with the supremely powerful, and generous, Vladimir Putin... and Putin has great interest in expanding Russian influence, especially regionally, to regain soviet era dominance... maybe he has even greater ambition (he is speculated to be the wealthiest person on the planet by some)... all of this requires sanctions lifted and an unsoldified Europe and Euro/USA alliance... which would likely be the road map to the quid pro quo relationship

    Lots of interesting stuff coming out today....... Trump unleashed a tweet storm that could end up costing him.

    He accused Obama of illegally "tapping his wires" in Trump tower just before the election (which was first reported by Louise Mensch in November..... old news). The thing is, presidents can't order wiretapping, that has to be approved by a federal judge. According to these reports, a judge denied a wiretap request by the FBI in July, but then authorized one in October, which means there was probable cause to justify the surveillance.

    Trump may have just confirmed this FISA surveillance warrant which until today had not been. Malcolm Nance thinks this morning's behavior by Trump is that of a man trying to get out in front of something.

    Get your popcorn ready folks, there could be some fireworks in the next few days.
