    I have Pearl Jam as a google alert and there was an ad from ticket web that says Pearl Jam o2 arena on 11/24/17. Tics on sale 3/2. Figured it was bullshit because I got it yesterday and no one has referenced it.

    Google alert I have never heard of such a thing. Do they just send you emails to links of news?

    Pearl Jam UK (tribute band) are playing various O2 venues in the UK in November, that may have triggered the alert.

    Have just noticed that the PJ tribute band Pearl Jam UK are playing at 02 Arena in Liverpool but that's the 25/11. Maybe no connection at all.

    The pearl jam uk tribute band can fill arenas?! No way! Maybe it's just me, but I've never understood what sort of person goes to see a tribute act (unless it's free and at a local pub/bar!), especially for a current band. Maybe the lack of PJ tour dates leads people to that sort of desperation

    theyre playing the smaller o2 academy venues not arenas.

    youre spot on with the reason though, lack of the real thing and to be fair PJ UK are damn good at what they do.
