Trump co-opted Bernies economic populist message and won with it in the Midwest which we all know lead to his victory. Bernie would not have lost the entire rust belt, would gave done better with working class whites then HRC, had zero political scandal, and would have defeated Trump

    No question

Yet you Americans only presented two choices at the ballot boxes really.
    President Trump or Clinton.

Bernie had the message... he had the enthusiasm... he had the movement

Trump filled the vacuum in the general... and now we are here

America in general is incredibly wary of a socialist in the WH. They fear it like its the next step to communism. I just cant see him getting the numbers with the fear campaign trump would have waged against him.

Bernie had millions behind him. anyone saying he didn't have much chance don't know what they're talking about.

    Numbers and polls again huh?
In six days all that shit doesn't matter.
    Numbers and polls
President Trump won w/ low polls
Trump won based on an antiquated system put in place to protect the slaveholding states and slavery itself. By 80k or so votes in 3 states. A plain fact of the estimated 230-240 million eligible voters, he garnered a scant 25% of said eligible votes.

Are you trying sarcasm by adding more percentages and numbers? Because if you are it is funny.
If not well, Clinton lost to same system.

The system was created to protect slavery and yet slavery does not still exist. Now the same system is being used to resist slavery as proposed by big government urban elite. Funny how that worked out.

What slavery is proposed by big government urban elite? And who are these urban elite? Are they fun to hang out with?

He hasn't even taken office yet and we re saying things like "deplorable changes". Give the man a chance.
So what, "he hasn't taken office yet", have you not seen his cabinet picks? Have you not seen the votes that are already happening in Congress?

Why would you want to give him a chance to accomplish regression?

With a republican congress and president maybe we can somehow get out of debt and perhaps have a balanced budget. That s a good place to start.

Latest tweet and I think some of this describes many here on AMT.
The Democrats are most angry that so many Obama Democrats voted for me. With all of the jobs I am bringing back to our Nation, that number will only get higher. Car companies and others, if they want to do business in our country, have to start making things here again. WIN!

LOL....the republican congress that you referred to just presented massive deficit budgets

The GOP is responsible for our current debt/deficits. You really believe the "fiscal conservative" bullshit?

    The orange nightmare.

The comedy is over for me- even though Cleveland steamer stories and many other follies likely lurk around the corner, reality is setting in. This fiasco is a mess. I'm not optimistic in the slightest. I'm not predicting nuclear war, but I'm not thinking anything positive at all can come out of this one term president that likely shit himself when he surprisingly won (remember he was building a defence for the moment he lost with the 'rigged election' talk and consider his excessive gloating over Hilary as he relishes the moment)... and now feels he is the world's alpha male (he's more narcissistic than ever).

And how will this shithead react when North Korea or China starts fucking with him? If he is stupid enough to attack a civil rights icon I can't imagine how he'll react to troop movements or military challenges. It's kind of scary.

North Korea and China has been "fucking with you" for the last 8 years. This is continuation of "scary" and not something that has just appeared on election day. Trump supporters understand this and aren't under the false impression that we are in for good times. The hope is that a change "might" correct things. Mattis's senate testimony on the state of the world is the "scary". It is the fact that you have all been asleep for the "scary" is why Trump was necessary.

    Lol

Trump supporters understand that when there's a dead critter on the side of the road... there's gonna be some good stew fer dinner.

Stop working so hard to describe his electoral base as some group of refined, advanced thinking, intellects. This is simply not the case for the majority of them.

North Korea is led by someone just like Trump... so you might be on to something there with regards to the two countries possibly becoming more amicable.
