Fair warning... take it in in pieces.. there is so much to this park! And you need to check out the Epcot Center ( relative park next door). When we went as kids it took us four days to see everything!! And it is twice as big now that it is finished!

Yep, we are spending a week there so will be able to take our time and really enjoy! It's crazy how you can semi-plan the trip already though. We have our table service restaurants and fast passes already reserved. Yay technology haha!

I'm sorry, marky. A bit over eight years since mine died, and I still get tears, sometimes just out of the damned blue.

Have come to look at it as the relationship was precious enough to warrant such an on-going sense of loss. It speaks to the men our fathers were, and to us, as their children.

    Love received, love saved.

    Love passed on.

Sorry to hear that, markymark. I lost my father just over 4 years ago, and it still hurts. Always will, and grief will hit any time it damn well pleases, no matter how many years its been. The pain never goes away, we just learn to adapt. Hugs to you.

Thanks @hedonist and @samjam. Hugs to you both and anyone else that has a tough time with grief/loss during the holidays. I was definitely feeling down earlier, but my wife helped cheer me up. Feeling like having a Crown and Coke, his favorite drink, and give him a toast.

If you do, cheers to you, and to his memory. And to your wife.

Fuck knows we need that support and lifting of spirits from those closest to us.
