Got to see The Temperance Movement for the first time last night at the A&R Music Bar here in Columbus...
these guys are INCREDIBLE!!!

Really good show!!
I'm looking forward to seeing them again in September,
when they come back to Ohio for a show at Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland!!

definition of "the temperance movement" per wiki. i get a kick outta this especially when thinking about the song only friend...it's all making sense now. love UK humor

Posted on here to about 5 months ago to checkout WHITE BEAR didnt raise an eyebrow which surprised me such an awesome song,talk about a kickarse chorus,great band.Check the song out if you haven't heard,starts slow but explodes into a keeper

sometimes a utube link helps ie) that only friend rehearsal session clip above. not sure how anyone could watch/hear that and not be impressed

I saw them play twice last year in Telluride. One was a Night Ride show at the Sheridan Opera House. They had played a festival the day before in Scotland and had literally travelled the entire time to make it there in time to play the show. I had never heard of them before but was mightily impressed with the effort. They rocked the fucking house! Then they killed it again at the fest.

I am more than slightly bummed that their tour has been postponed. I was fully planning to see them in Dallas. I hope they will still play Telluride again this summer.
