definition of "the temperance movement" per wiki. i get a kick outta this especially when thinking about the song only friend...it's all making sense now. love UK humor
"The temperance movement is a social movement against the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Temperance movements typically criticize excessive alcohol consumption, promote complete abstinence (teetotalism), or use its political influence to press the government to enact alcohol laws to regulate the availability of alcohol or even its complete prohibition."0 -

I saw them play twice last year in Telluride. One was a Night Ride show at the Sheridan Opera House. They had played a festival the day before in Scotland and had literally travelled the entire time to make it there in time to play the show. I had never heard of them before but was mightily impressed with the effort. They rocked the fucking house! Then they killed it again at the fest.
I am more than slightly bummed that their tour has been postponed. I was fully planning to see them in Dallas. I hope they will still play Telluride again this summer.0 -
i wonder what is going on. even though it ain't really my business to know....
i could see them postponing the shows but to out right cancel? ugh
and yup telluride made me a fan0
