    Only have to pay him next year. There was an out.

    And to be fair, the extension wasn't just signed, word just came out about it. Also, Kroenke may be one of the richest owner in the world. A couple million won't hurt. The Chargers will bring that in one home game in '19 when the new stadium opens

    i see the crowd support isn't really there in LA at this point. what did stan expect? the LA fans to continue to support the team and sell out the stadium to see a team that won't even be competitive? he did not give the LA fans enough credit to see through that.

    i see fisher got a 2 year extension then fired the very next week. to me that seems like a payoff. fisher saw them through the move to LA, and that contract was like a severance.

    they brought fisher to st louis specifically to see them through the move. it is all clear now.
