    they've done this in the past. Start the season bad then start playing better. Hopefully they can keep it up for the entire season and playoffs.

    There may not be a better rookie playing in Philly this year than Provorov. This kid goes up against the oppositions top lines every night and he is now excelling. He's a special player.

    The abundance of overtime and shootout games, and the phony point system the nhl uses is ruining the league. Too many games are worth 3 points, while a regulation win is 2. So you can keep "winning", while the rest of the league eeks out 1 or 2 points. Teams absolutely shut it down in the 3rd for the guaranteed point. It makes nhl games even more boring and worthless

    I agree. They do need to change up the OT/SO point system.
