There will be scheduled maintenance for pearljam.com and tenclub.net on Friday, May 16 between the hours of 1-4 pm PDT. This will affect both website and forums. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will see you as soon as maintenance is complete!

    I don't. The announcement said the downtime is for maintenance, not upgrades.

    And why scheduled maintenance is done during peak hours on a Friday is beyond me. Seems a bit goofy. One generally schedules that sort of thing during slow/off hours.

    1-4 PDT? Is that really the window during which the sites get the least traffic?

    If it needs to be done, then do it by all means. I would've thought that in the middle of the night would be a better time. Just surprised, is all.
