Most of what you just said here is laughable. Especially the Sarah Palin part. Good stuff there.
It really is something. I can only shake my head at the mental back-flips some people have to do to make all this okay.

Which proves my point that some don't really care about Russia's actions at all. It's phony outrage.
No, it doesnt prove a point. It shows you have a warped sense of your political history. And your complete lack of understanding of Sarah palin.

If Russia hacked the election we should know about it.

If they hacked emails and released them than they do nothing different than what the US does. We freaking bugged the German chancelor. This shit happens all the time and all these countries including us pretend to be shocked when they blatantly do the same thing. How many elections has the US government influenced over the years?

So yes, we should understand what the Russians did and push back somehow. The American people just need to be smart. Nothing in the Wikileaks was untrue so I don't see why there should be a re-vote.

Should the CIA be reviewing the MSM too? They influenced the election just as much as any foreign country.

This is an example of a mental back-flip.

    Bullshit.
    Maybe the biggest back-flip yet.

Comparing the work media does to a foreign government hacking organizations to affect the outcome of an election? Really?

They aren't in the same league...not even the same sport. Bullshit indeed.

    The outrage is so phony.

I agree but some truly are outraged and those are the deranged ones.

Do you have anything to add to the thread, aside from your empty derision?

I can't imagine hating my political opposition so much that I would welcome and be openly thankful for foreign intervention in our electoral process.

Good to see not everyone has lost their minds.

"Democrats and Republicans must work together, and across the jurisdictional lines of the Congress, to examine these recent incidents thoroughly and devise comprehensive solutions to deter and defend against further cyber-attacks," incoming Democratic leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), Armed Services Committee Chairman and Ranking Member John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Jack Reed (D-R.I.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said in a joint statement.

Remember Bafoon was the only candidate to openly encourage hacking of HC emails by Russia during campaign ..

I usually don't respond like that but you ignored the rest of my post where I did say we should investigate and push back against Russia. I just don't think that we should re-do the election if the only thing Russia did was release true information (although one-sided). If they hacked results that is a different story. Again, Russia did nothing the USA doesn't do everyday and twice on Sunday. We would all praise the CIA if they were able to influence that murderer Putin losing in re-election.

But Fox News and WashPo work very hard to dig dirt on the Dems and Reps, respectively, and clearly are not fair and balanced. So we should prevent foreign countries' influence but it is nothing new and it is one of just the many things people view when determining who to select.

  • "Mr. Trump has split on the issue with many Republicans on the congressional intelligence committees, who have said they were presented with significant evidence, in closed briefings, of a Russian campaign to meddle in the election."

"At this point in a transition, a president-elect is usually delving into intelligence he has never before seen, and learning about C.I.A. and National Security Agency abilities. But Mr. Trump, who has taken intelligence briefings only sporadically, is questioning not only analytic conclusions, but also their underlying facts.

“To have the president-elect of the United States simply reject the fact-based narrative that the intelligence community puts together because it conflicts with his a priori assumptions — wow,” said Michael V. Hayden, who was the director of the N.S.A. and later the C.I.A. under President George W. Bush."

Is it ok to be concerned, or am I still supposed to be in the "give him a chance" phase?
