    Wob, I think that the Cubs are the sentimental favorite. I work with people from all over the country and almost everyone I know is rooting for the Cubs.

    my bad. I assumed you were referring to the "C" logo. I haven't heard the braves called america's team in years.....that was back when all you had was WGN and TBS :lol:

    Ahh yeah, didn't even think about the C. Yes, when I grew up (equidistant from Pittsburgh and Baltimore), you were either a Cubs or Braves fan because you only saw them on tv. Local stations didn't show O's or Bucs games.

    I have to say though.... win or lose, I have loved this season, and this team has completely given me joy in baseball that I haven't experienced since my childhood. Not just the success, although it is a necessary component.
