Fenway 2008 show?

every year there iseems to be another band who has taken this slot..

(Police, Springsteen, DMB etc)

anything in the way this year?

U2 is not touring so they are out..

    Considering they usually play gillette - fenway is a step down in capacity.

    Yeah they were supposed to play Soldier Field in Chicago, but he said the other night in Chicago that was not going to happen...

    I just wondered if that meant they chose Europe for their stadium tour.

    I dont think Pearl Jam is big enough to play Fenway, maybe they should play at McCoy Stadium, home of the Red Sox Triple-A affiliate Pawtucket Red Sox...

    I hope they play fenway. That would be special.

    Although I wouldnt mind seeing Bon Jovi as a consolation.

    DMB is playing Busch Stadium in St. Louis this year, wish it was PJ instead

    Well, I have heard a lot of complaints about the less than stellar acoustics, not to mention that the majority of the seats are pretty far away from the stage.

    You've also got some terrible lines of sight to the stage, particularly in the grandstand opposite the stage.
