    This will work both ways. What happens when Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and other parts of the world are allowed to sue the US for illegal bombings?

    If people are allowed to file lawsuits against Saudi Arabia, and they win, how would it be enforced?

    I think one probably has to do quite a bit of reading before really being able to take an informed side on this, but I'm leaning towards no myself, from what I already know. Sounds like it would set a precedent that would be impossible to maintain.

    Ultimately it is being vetoed because the U.S. does not strained relations with the most powerful and rich Muslim country in the Middle East.
