PJ on SNL - 1994 - Video or audio?

Hi - I'm looking to see if the 1994 SNL appearance (Not for You, in particular) exists anywhere in audio or video form? The rehearsals are all over YouTube, but I can't find the actual show footage. Thanks!

Still my favorite version of "Not For You" after all of this time. I remember watching this when it originally aired, wondering what they were going to play from Vs., then they started in with this and I was blown away.

I remember being at band practice in my friends grandmothers basement in NJ and us all taking a break to come watch...good times.

I remember reading Mike saying he was out of his mind drunk during this performance too. Don't recall where, but man.

  • Great performance. It was about a week and a half after Kurts death, I remember watching it live and thinking it was a really nice tribute for Eddie to write the letter K on his shirt.
  • Eddie and Chris Farley kind of hugging and almost slow dancing is a sweet moment as well.

    I agree.

He talked about it in PJ20 - said he didn't even remember playing 'Daughter' on the show! If you can be that drunk, and still play like that...scary, but incredible!

Wonder what the source is for the audio on this mix(?) Weird how on Not For You, you can't hear Stone's solo at all, but on my VHS copy I recorded when it aired, it's there.

PM me an email, I can send an MP3

my favorite version of this as well- Daughter was pretty damn good too
  • I've always thought that's the best RVM of all time. Mike just ripping a solo at the end and Ed and Stone on the power chords. It's the best version I've ever heard.

I feel like every time they've done national TV they've sounded spectacular. My favorite versions of Grievance and Hail, Hail are those ones from Letterman too.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I still to this day cannot hear or sing this song without the " Small my table, seats just two... Me and Beth" line being in my brain. This is how I will always picture the band in my head too.....this was the time of mosh pits, flannel, and ass kicker boots and shorts
