Oh noooo! I am a fan of his. Ever since Woman in Red. And See No Evil, Hear No Evil. So funny. This is very sad, and that's awful that it was from Alzheimer's, of all things. What a terrible way to go. My friend and I were just talking about him for some reason on Saturday night too. Weird.

Just so happens the director of SNE/HNE and Silver Streak died last week, Arthur Hiller.

I've been looking for a decent clip of the bathroom scene from Silver Streak where Pryor teaches Wilder to pass as black. No luck.

    Comedy gold.

    Classic.

Finally saw that for the first time a year ago on HBO Now. That scene is hilarious.

Loved him in Blazing Saddles and especially Young Frankenstein.

in today's pc social media world probably half of his movies could never get made today.

That may be true. The last time I watched Blazing Saddles though, the humor seemed a lot more mainstream than when the movie came out. But the racial humor probably wouldn't fly nowadays.

Always got him and Michael Caine mixed up before. Not sure how that happened.
