    But it was true. Just because the party eventually changed because they found an opportunity for votes doesn't erase their history.

    I completely understand the general anger and frustration within black communities, and am not at all surprised that these feelings continue to boil over. Rightly so. Do I think this particular case of an armed man fleeing from cops and supposedly with gun in hand being shot by cops is specifically something the community should be angry about? No, of course not. To me, it seems like a justified police shooting and the dead guy was a criminal and I don't care about him. I am not sure if these specific riots have more to do with general anger about racism from police an now they are just on a hair trigger, or if they have more to do with a bunch of assholes looking for an excuse to loot and destroy. If the latter... hey, white people should be able to relate, since most of their riots are based solely on that very thing, since they don't have anything real to be that angry and frustrated about like black people do, which was the whole point of that other thread.
