Our schedule is not that bad other than F Me's team after this week. Just need to hang on as we have sucked the last few weeks. Belt finally got off his schneid yesterday and hopefully keeps it up. Plus I get Pence back later this week/early next week.

You may very well be correct about that. But, doesn't mean he's any good. A lot of garbage players get lucky.

Excuse me? He is a career .284 hitter, 3 time all star and just this year was the player of the week before he got hurt this season.

I will take Pence over Freeman. Pence's wacko personality is the driving force with the Giants and their environment. They have a fun/loose locker room and it starts it with him.

Which line is better?
Top is Freeman, bottom is Pence. Pence's average year thus far is slightly better. He stays on the field more than Freeman (74 more ABs average on these years, although walks offset that stat some) which might see their numbers even closer.

Think they are very similar hitters.
I do not believe either has won any fielding awards but they both field well.

I am not a Pence apologist, he just makes me laugh and seems like a good dude.

You can have your opinion that Freeman is a better hitter but so far in their careers I don't think there is anything to back that up.

Dude, Pence is 33, Freeman is 26. If you want to isolate years like that look at them at the same age. That is a biased comparison.

It is biased to compare a 33 year old players playing time with a 26 year old. After 32 without HGH a lot of these guys can't stay on the field. Comparing numbers is fine, this was in reference to Pence not being able to stay on the field.

Nope. Go to Standings and you will see a link at the top for Projected Playoff Bracket. You are 8th -- need to get by Stinky Jedis (7th) and Team Chicago#1 (6th) to make the playoffs.
Think you are fucked....you could easily get past Jedis but Chicago looks to be way ahead. Without a massive tank job over his last 4 matchups I dont think you can make up that much ground.
You have Gold-en and State of Glove coming up still....I think the playoffs are pretty much set, it is just the seeding.
This is why you play the game, though, keep grinding!
