Save travel to LA ?

Is there anyone who knows if it's safe to travel to LA now? I've heard of a very big fire going on. My niece is planning to go on the trip of her life in a couple of days and I'm very worried.
Thankful for advice !

    Where will she be staying? If in the general LA area she should be fine.

    As long as she's not staying in Santa Clarita. The air was horrible here for a couple days, but it's much better now.
