What a brave brave girl. A sad story but she's doing what she believes is the right thing to do. To go out on her terms without all the pain and suffering.

    What a sad situation to be in. What a horrible decision to have to make. I'm glad she gets to make that choice. 14 does seem a bit young to make that decision. But you tend to grow up faster when you face death on a daily basis.

    When I read the title I thought to myself "no one that young should be allowed to make that decision." But after reading the story I think I changed my mind.

    Jesus...I have tears rolling down my face. I can't even fathom how you handle that as a parent.

    When I first read of this lovely young lady, it seemed she's thought it through.

    May she go out on her own terms - as we all should.

    How I'd love to twirl with her. Pretty sure she's a better dancer than I.
