Altered "Who You Are" Lyrics on Spotify... What's the deal?

Am I the first person to notice the alternative lyrics to "Who You Are" on Spotify.


In the second verse to the song, the Spotify version of the song contains the lyrics "Avalanche, falling fast"... whereas the studio version lyrics are "Circumstance, Clapping hands"....

It almost seems like these alternative lyrics are overdubbed onto the song.

Anyone else notice this? Thoughts?

    Eddie redubbed lyrics for RVM compilation, mang.
    I don't like it any more than you do.
    Imposing his would be lyrical "perfectionism" over his previous iffy lyrics.
    That was the charm of the goddamn song.

    Ha... interesting... yeah, it seems dubbed, but maybe that's because I'm so used to the original.

    I think i prefer the original.
