Looking back when we were young, and had hopes and goals and aspirations, did we do it?
Did we surpass our expectations of ourselves?
Did we give up the dream a long, long time ago?
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.

    My plan was to either be a marine biologist or michael jackson's best friend. At 38 I am neither & very happy with my life. Much more left to do while I'm here though. Much more.

    I am on my pinnacle and the view is great!
    I don't think anyone will ever reach the lofty heights I reside in.

    I wouldn't have written the story the way it happened, but I wouldn't change any experiences. There has been sadness and great celebration. Friends have come and friends have gone. We're fortunate to both have good careers that make little, but we are able to do fine on what we have. We have a great kiddo and if 12 years old doesn't kill us, it is only up from here! :smiley:

    Mal, I never really had a specific life goal or dream beyond just being happy in my skin...peace of mind and all that shit. I'm mostly there but have my moments. Probably always will, and that's OK.

    It's a great and typically happy ride.

    Got yo where I wanted to go.. Screwed it up.. Recovers.. Went another direction, got mostly to where I wanted with it.. Screwed THAT up, just now getting back on track for the next adventure.... But this time I am NOT relying on self to make it work.
