With arrieta, my staff has 43 wins. His has 39.

But kershaw and scherzer are a great combo. He's got a pretty big drop off between them and his third best in samardjiza. With arrieta, lester, Zimmerman, bammel, and matz there's not that big of a drop from 2 to 3. Plus, when felix and darvish come off the DL, I shouldn't lose a pitching category for the rest of the year!

I hate to lose yoenis, but jake is worth it.

If anyone is looking for a stud pitcher, hit me up with an offer. I'm loaded with them

I've probably got the best pitching in the league

Too bad you are so far back of Eric and I none of it matters.

League is won in playoffs, no points for finishing at the front in the regular season. Make the playoffs and then fight it out. All that matters!

Agreed. If was only 23 back of one of us in first I think he would have a much better shot. But two of us makes his road to the playoffs a lot harder since 2 per division will get in. Add in him being 21.5 back of the third place team and 17 back of the 4th place in the division and I just can't see it happening. He would need 3 of us to collapse. 1 (probably my team) is doable. 4 is an uphill battle at this point that is probably unreachable.

Your argument to me works better for your team. You would be 5th in my division but are leading yours. You just need to get in and then you can see what happens.

Top 6 get in. I'm currently 8th. And there's half the season left. All of you are an injury or 2 away from trading places with me.

Going into the weekend I was crushing and ended up just winning. Need the team to play better but winning is winning. Get to the playoffs and let the chips fall where they may. Been doing this for long enough to know that often times the best team doesn't win. I had the best team early...not even close right now. Seems my hitters sit for half of the week every week.

As the asshole said, there is still half a season left for all sorts of injuries.

Divisions don't matter, it's just top 6? Why do they bother with divisions then? Keep in mind my team sucked last season so I didn't play close attention. If so I apologize for writing off teams.

I had it set up last year where the division winners are the top 2 seeds, then it was the next 4 best records. I don't know if Brett changed that up.

There are plenty more blockbuster deals to be made people. Everyone except rizzo is available on my team. Most of you have top 10 first baseman anyway.

    Available:
    Freeman
    Kang
    Villar
    Tanaka
    Hammel
    Felix
    Darvish
    Travis
    Molina
    Longoria
    Contreras
    Ellsbury

Stayed the same -- #2 seed is currently my team. (Currently! lol)

Ani, this is all available to see in the playoff seedings -- think you can find on the Schedule or Standings tabs.

I found where it shows 6 teams get in but doesn't say anything with the bye weeks on who gets them. I trust you all are right and each division winner gets a bye week, which is the way it should be.
