It's amazing that an organization can make boxing look like it is well ran.

    That's bull.
Yes the UFC and Dana White have maturity problems, but the UFC is a much better run sporting organisation.
It took a decade to get the 2 greatest boxers of a generation into the ring together, well after they had passed their primes. That is a travesty that would never occur in the UFC, and it is far greater a failure than any of Dana White's...so far.
Lol, it took so long because there was almost $100 mil on the line. Remind me what that biggest UfC purse was? Pretty sure my wife makes more than anyone has ever made in ufc

You can make excuses and make light, but when a sports organisation can't get it's best competitors into action against each other for more than a decade, it is one poorly run piece of crap.

I know a low level boxing promoter, it is a very sheisty business, the UFC wouldn't be able to survive under that system, it would be going down the crapper like boxing has for the last 2 decades, I am surprised the big sponsors are still funneling money into it to keep it afloat. Nobody gives a shot about boxing anymore.

ha, that was some drunken rant from me, but I stick by it. Boxing has so many problems, but you can't black ball people for reporting.

Alright, I am done posting in a UFC thread, I feel dirty, haha.

top tier guys make millions per fight.

bottom guys make tens of thousands per fight. your wife makes that much in one night? I'd be interested to know what she does for a living.

Exactly. They are greedy crooks and the fight was complete shit.

And I prefer boxing over MMA by a wide margin.

Jones/Cormier fight cancelled. Jones popped for apparent illegal substance (PED, not coke, LOL). Lesnar/Hunt new main event.

Gustuffson and Bisping both offered to fight Cormier on 2 days notice. Cormier said he is still willing to fight "if it makes sense".

Now Tate/Nunes is the main event. Good because they had it set up to have the main and co-main non title fights when there were other title fights on the card, which would have been SO odd.

UFC 200 is a perfect example of why I stopped following MMA religiously about 2 years ago. Fights are constantly changed, many of the fighters are ego maniacs and druggies, and Dana White lets his ego get in the way.

I want to love the sport again, but there are some things holding me back.

Didn't Dana white get Anderson Silva to fight Cormier? Still an intriguing fight.

Lesnar is a fucking animal. For him to come in like hat after not fighting for 5 years and beat a top 10 heavyweight is pretty amazing. Rest of the card was decent. Cormier fight was a snooze.

Did Heyman accompany Lesnar to the ring or was he there at all?

I didn't see him there at all. Was kinda hoping Brock would have come out to his WWE music and have Heyman cut a promo before the fight.

UFC sold for $4 Billion. White still president, Lorenzo Fertitta is out as CEO, but both Fertitta brothers still hold minority stake in company, as does Dana.

the brothers bought it for $2 Million only 15 years ago. That's quite a return on investment.

Good. White is such an asshole. Fighters get treated like complete garbage unless they are the top tier guys. Hopefully they all go on strike until the UFC recognizes this union. They probably should have done this leading up to UFC200....would have gotten a ton of press leading up to what they claimed was their biggest event ever.

he is. I can't for the life of me understand how any owner can stomach how he speaks to/in the media, swearing at them, admonishing them; that wouldn't be tolerated in any other sports organization. he's a dick. how he was fat shaming and follower shaming people on twitter last year. it was disgusting.
