  • I heard them for the first time this spring while in SC, love the album and I am going to see them in a few weeks in Camden. I had heard they are almost jamband-ish live?

I place them firmly in my top five right now. Fantastic band especially live. I fear lots of folks write them off for their country leanings but it ain't all about the country by any means. Had the pleasure of seeing them in Memphis in June and was blown away. They play a four hour show, but ours was cut to three due to heavy heavy rain. The cool thing about their shows on this tour is that Zac and the band are out there the whole time with their guests coming out from time to time to perform a song or two with them.
They actually remind me a bit of The Band in a way (not on that level of course but maybe one day?!?). They are a talented bunch.
A must see is the Pass the Jar live dvd which also includes a two-disc set. Fantastic. Anyone who goes to see them won't be disappointed. New album is due in September (the 21st i think it is) and Zac said it promises to take their eccletic sound to a new level.

Just some run of the mill country act from what i have seen, definetly doesnt steal anyones show except maybe a taylor swift or a miley cyrus.

Could easily steal DMB's show I guarantee you.
Hardly run of the mill country either

I saw ZBB for the first time last night. I'm not a fan at all - they're just a little too country for me. My buddy had an extra ticket and VIP lounge (free booze throughout the show) so I said why not. The concert ended up being a lot of fun. They played so many covers: Devil Went Down to Georgia, Let it Be, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Can't You See - I think there was one more. I enjoyed a lot of their original music too - I think I just can't do their studio albums.

    Great show - I think I'm a fan now.

My wife likes a few of their songs. When listening to them, I got a Jimmy Buffet vibe from them. They're not my cup of tea, but it's not like I would go out of my way to change the song either.

Definitely a Buffett vibe. I had heard just one or two songs before I saw them a few years ago. Just a fun band that plays some hard rock covers.

like almost any country concert. Gotta love chicks that dress up in boots and short shorts when going to shows.

They are a very versatile band, there's Jimmy Buffet type stuff, country, Southern rock and some hard rock covers. Great band to see live in my opinion
