Listening to Greenville 24bits on my computer I do not hear it. However I did burn them and hear some static throughout listening in my car cd player. I did not hear that any static playing the 16bit waves in my car through the usb drive. Weird

There's static all over the greenville and hampton bootlegs. Mainly in set 2. Seem like it could and should be cleaned up.

I don't hear it on Grenville
There's definitely some static in Indifference.

This is not as bad as the South American boots were, but it's disappointing that it still is a problem.

I may be in the minority here, but it's a bootleg so it's imperfections are still head and shoulders above what some of us grew up listening to (tapes, shitty overpriced CDRs, etc., etc.,).

Oh for sure. I think of some of the vinyl bootlegs I used to buy 20-30 years ago...lol wow.

That said, they were doing these perfect for all these years, and suddenly this problem has cropped up since the 2015 SA tour. This Greenville boot is way better than the South American and Mexico boots were. I won't listen to the 3 boots I have from the SA tour anymore. This little bit of static here or there in Greenville doesn't really bother me. I love this bootleg. Great set!

And hopefully now they know this isn't just an issue with uneven power and can address whatever the real problem is. Just in time to make sure the Wrigley boots sound perfect! :)

On Glorified G at the moment - this sounds awesome. My favorite LP of all time being played live.

Wow, they've really tamed Sirens (finally). Seems like they just couldn't get it right forever.

No static on Sad at all? Have you tried it through various sources (speakers, other headphones)?

Just took a quick listen to the Hampton's Sad in Flac, and I couldn't hear any. May take it for a listen with headphones, but if I am having to critically listen to Live Bootlegs... it may not be worth it.

    Re: Greenville FLAC-HD.

Sounds really good to me. I might have heard some slight static on 'Indifference' at this point. I'm on 'Let The Records Play' now. Listening to the 96/24 files on my Pono in balanced mode. Sounds solid!

I have headphoned it (sennheiser 280 pro). I use the Ponoworld program or just WinAMP to play FLACs on my Windows work machine, and I had it at full volume, and I've listened to it several times, zero crackling zero static-y shit... I have not played it on the big boy stereo in the other room. I downloaded the files one at a time using that POS nugs program after buying it directly from the store.

Thank you all for the input. Maybe it's an encoding error on 10cs end with the conversion to MP3? I'll try to redownload and maybe buy the flac versions. If anyone could just send me a FLAC version of Sad from Hampton, and I'll compare to my MP3. If the flac has no static while the MP3 does, then we can contact 10c.

This is my go-to bootleg at the moment. The Vs. run is stellar, and the rest is a solid fit. I'm super happy with this one. This will stay on the Pono for some time. Got it cranked at the moment on the home stereo (Cayin tube amp, DALI Zensor 3 bookshelf's), sounds so solid!

All the conversions are done through nugs. PJ will upload the tracked out flac files and nugs processes them to be posted.

I hear a little bit of static on Let The Records play
