There's static all over the greenville and hampton bootlegs. Mainly in set 2. Seem like it could and should be cleaned up.

No, but unless you have a high quality digital audio converter on whatever device is playing the file, it really won't make a difference. Even then, some people don't believe it makes a noticeable difference.

It's on there. Can't recall which songs exactly, but I want to say lightning bolt gets pretty bad. In my tree is really bad on the hampton recording. When i first heard this i thought it was a connection issue, as i was using an aux chord with an ipod classic in my car. Definitely the bootleg though, and seems to be a recurring problem. Other than the few songs that have these issues, the recordings sound great. Would be nice if they cleaned them up and sent a new link though.

Agree. Great boot, esp in the FLAC 24. Sounds better than @ the show, IMO. Thought Greenville was a bit "boomy".

what is the issue, ya think? i mean you think they would have got this corrected since the SA bootlegs from 2015.

i hate it because this mix is one of the best in a few years. is it a problem with the source recording?

i just listening to the Greenville MP3 and i couldn't really hear it. of course i wasn't listening on headphones. could it possibly be a corrupt file download? i know that i have had to re-download shit from the site before. just trying to get to the bottom of this. it shouldn't be happening if we are paying $20 bucks for a HD download.

It's very noticeable on mine. Like i said, most of it sounds good. Just some periods of 2 or 3 songs in the second encore i believe on both the hampton and greenville bootlegs. Perhaps you missed those parts, or maybe i should try redownloading. It's certainly obnoxious though, and im far from an audio snob, so im not just nitpicking.

As far as what issues they are having, i have no idea, and i really dont know if they would be fixable either.

I listened to all of Greenville and didnt hear any of what you are referring to...I am an audio snob.
I would def re-download.

yeah. i think sometimes the files get corrupted during download. i def had that problem when 10club first started doing this in 2006

I hear it on both Gville and VA. I have the official mp3s. It's only noticeable on certain songs. I believe it's in the source recording.

Did you notice it on in my tree in particular? That's the worst of it as i can remember. Just checking if we have the same problems with the same tracks.

man, what a bummer. I need to listen on the PONO tonight. only took a cursory listen last night on my crappy PC speakers and couldn't hear the static.
