    They could go 0-162 and they still wouldn't fire Girardi. If George was still himself in 2008. He would've been fired then. Although he probably wouldn't have been the manager in the first place

    What has Girardi done to get fired? The Yankees have pretty clearly outplayed the talent on their roster for 2 or so years now.

    I get it, his name is not Don Mattingly...who I might add, managed teams that played consistently worse than their talent level

    He had 3 straight first place finishes. Something that organization hasn't done. He did the best he could without a good bullpen. I wouldn't say they were consistently worse. And the playoffs are a crapshoot. I think Girardi sometimes gets a pass because was anointed a great manager before he was a manager.
