I hope Washington sweeps! Penguin fans have been non-existent for almost 5 years and suddenly they're all back irritating the shit out of me at the bar.
Sad part is I live equidistant from Washington & Pittsburgh but I only know 2 Caps fans. Eeeeevryone is a fucking Penguins fan here.
The thing hat irritates me the most is listening to Jay fucking Caufield after every game talk about how the Penguins dominated all facets of the game. Those fuckers could lose 100-0 and Caufield will somehow still talk about how the Penguins outplayed the opponent. Bob Errey isn't much better with his bias.

Not sure how the ref was able to call that an overtime goal, even though the replay did show it was all the way across the line.

I don't see any way the ref could have seen the puck, given his position. That's the playoffs though, lol.

Yeah, I was surprised he called that a goal on the ice. But I think they would have reviewed that either way. This series is going to be a really good one.

Agreed, it's going to be a fun series to watch (aren't they all, though, lol?). Glad I don't favour one team over the other (though I'll admit I prefer Crosby over Ovechkin, but that's because of their respective egos, lol).

Glad to see Nashville get back into it a little bit. We got to see Vince Gill play a little guitar during the inttermisiions too.

I really only watch playoff hockey...,so tell me....are NHL coaches about the most detached of the 4 major sports? They seem to not do much.

Wob, NHL coaches do most of their work behind the scenes. You coach dictates the type of system you play. (This basically calls plays) Before they games they set the lines. During games they switch the lines/playing time of guys out on ice. If you watch a series you can see some players getting more/less time based on what they are doing.
Some of them also go hard at their players in-between periods.

    Damn Penguins.

Game 7 tonight. Can Dallas really win w/o their best player? Going to be fun.

The Blues are my pick to win it all, but they have been frustrating as hell to watch.

Except for Reaves. That fucker is hilarious.

I'm pulling for the Bolts in a big way now, too. Accomplishing what they have without Stamkos and Stralman is nothing short of remarkable.

how the hell did Beagle stop that puck in overtime with just his stick and it not hit off of him? incredible play.

some great games in the last few days. 2 game 7s should be great too.

and agree with the post above about Tampa. crazy to make another conference finals without those 2 guys. very impressive.

Damn straight. And Stralman should be back any day and Stamkos is skating with the team. Just needs to get off the thinners.

    beatdown.

it would be 5-0, if not for a ticky tack offsides call.
