    Great question...more applicable to the Ride fest, but NYC is, well, it's NYC.

    You shouldn't have any problem having your place in the GA line saved by your +1 while you're off making the run. Let's face it, that IS an essential item, you probably shouldn't be gone more than 20 minutes, and as long as everyone in line around your space is cool with it...it's not like you're taking in a matinee or acting like a tourist at the top of the Empire State Bldg.

    Before it was much easier in Vancouver, you could simply find a street that has a large population of hippies and hipsters - you know, the streets that have all the little independent cafes with sidewalk patios, used book stores, organic veggie stands, custom t-shirt and paraphernalia shops - and just walk down the sidewalk asking random people who more look like they smoke weed if they know where to find some (obviously you can't tell for most people, but we all know that sometimes it's just obvious!). Not kidding. It always worked eventually. :lol:

    I saw a guy light up a crack pipe in front of a couple mounties across the street from GM Place before a PJ show a few years ago. Memories.
