    Great question...more applicable to the Ride fest, but NYC is, well, it's NYC.

    You shouldn't have any problem having your place in the GA line saved by your +1 while you're off making the run. Let's face it, that IS an essential item, you probably shouldn't be gone more than 20 minutes, and as long as everyone in line around your space is cool with it...it's not like you're taking in a matinee or acting like a tourist at the top of the Empire State Bldg.
