Guys, I have a good luck shirt that I had made. I have only worn it once in my life, and that was to the Greenville show. The next time I wear it will be for the Lexington show. Trust the good luck shirt!

How did you know it was good luck before you wore it to Greenville? :)
Lol I didn't. It took that show to make me realize that it was a good luck shirt!

If you have any questions about it, I'm happy to answer them.

Know1 that is wonderful, thanks for all the information, read and watched it all, showing the post to my wife, I'm gonna bet we do exactly that. dress-up, drink, horses, she'll love it :)
ok now getting down to the nitty-gritty -- Keeneland help please. Going on Wednesday, day after show. Restaurant tickets are sold out so that means Grandstand I assume? back of Section C or front of Section E? seem like enough restaurants to choose from even without a Restaurant Seat. anybody else going? thanks all

I'm going. You'll be fine. It's a lot more relaxed on a Wednesday. There will be plenty of food, although the first race doesn't start until 1:00, so you could eat before you get there.

No. You don't even have to have reserved tickets. You can just pay General Admission at the door ($3). I like the reserved tickets, though, because it gives you a guaranteed place to sit and I don't think they let just anyone sit in the reserved seats if they don't have a ticket - even if the seats are empty. You can buy the reserved seats at the door as well. The reserved seats cost $8 on a Wednesday and they include general admission. Other than the sections right at the finish line, it looks like most sections have many, many seats available for next Wednesday.

This past Saturday, there were 38,000 people there. That is WAY more people than they have seats for. You just can hang out near the paddock or down near the track or up inside the buildings if you don't have a seat.

For those at Springhill having the pre- pre-party with their own imported craft beers, make sure you leave some time on your walk toward the arena/downtown to stop at one of our better local craft breweries - Country Boy.

It doesn't look like much inside or out, but the beer is good and it's almost right on the way. It's about half a block to the left of the road you'll be walking on. It's a little hard to spot. It's probably about the halfway point of your walk. It's on Chair Ave.

The Cougar Bait and the Shotgun Wedding are their two most popular beers. You can buy Cougar Bait at some stores in Lexington.

funny, I just saw a tweet that it's KSR(Kentucky Sports Radio for you non UK fans) day at Country Boy Brewery and they were buying the first round of Cougar Bait for people that were there at 11. Too bad they didn't pick next Tuesday for that lol

Is it necessary to pre-book? I'm planning on going Tuesday as well.

It's a faux pas to call it whiskey. In KY, it's bourbon. :)
