I was hoping for another Vault release yesterday. Maybe I will just roll the dice on these live volumes. Wonder if Amazon will get them?

They are up over @ Amazon UK.
Thanks, Demetrios. Hopefully US will follow suit.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th

They're prob gonna make this vault 6 since I just pulled the trigger on them :)
Free shipping plus $14 off (LP20 code still works) for a complete show track for track was too hard to pass up.

I hope not. It would be cool, but if every vault from now on in, was based on bootlegger's releasing them first, we'd keep getting boots of shows we already have soundboard copies of. Last years definitely felt like a jab against people selling bootlegs of that show, but I hope we get an unreleased show this year (something that isn't already in wide circulation amongst fans).

edit: To be fair Solider Field '95 is one of the most epic shows from PJ's past, and the circulating boots are less than stellar (Even the very rare promo vinyl doesn't sound all that great). It wouldn't be the enter of the world if the show got a proper release, but in the long run I'd like to see some non-soundboard shows get vaulted.

One of the Randall's Island shows from '96? I think we only have audience recordings of those and they're pretty epic. Only soundboard we have from the '96 tour is Berlin. Love to see something from the No Code tour.
  • Had to order this one, it's a great replacement for the Spin the Black Circle from Vintage Vinyl that was out of order and missing songs.

Any sound quality reviews for this? Thinking about picking it up since it didn't end up being Vault 6.

It's good. Exactly the same sounding as the radio broadcast, so it's clear. I have them since they're the full set. Packaging is good as well.

  • I just got mine last week. I think the sound quality is fine or as expected for a bootleg. I am not an audiophile by any means though. I simply enjoy listening to music on my sole in-home system which is simply a receiver, turntable and book shelf speakers. I've reached out to SoundStage as there are significant skips in "Release" on the record I received.
    ...just got a fresh bottle.
