Me too (for Seattle). Now I'm stuck needing to sell 3 pairs of tickets. section 108, 106, and pit2... ugh :)

This on sale was crazy. Every new sale I kept getting better tickets. To the point where yesterday I was thinking the only thing better than pit tickets on Duff's side would be pit ticket's on Slash's side. Sure enough I scored those on the regular sale.

edit: Wow there's a ****tonne of tickets left up for sale on Ticketmaster for the Seattle show. I can probably get rid of my s106 tickets and spare pit tickets, but getting rid of the s108 tickets. Could be challenging.

I would have bought tix off you, but someone didn't want to spend more than $80/ticket. I should have reminded him my birthday is the following Monday.

Nice scores on the pit... i used every presale except the fanclub, plus tried the public sale today and couldn't sniff a pit for Philly. I pulled 3rd row and 5th row behind pit, should be right in front of Slash.

The video of his doctor giving a report on the injury says that he's "designing the set" so that he can still perform... whatever that means.

I broke my foot in that exact place, but it was just a crack, not a bad break like that, requiring surgery. And even then, I was in a walking cast for 7 weeks... and because I didn't stay off of my foot as much as I should have (had a walking cast, but wasn't supposed to be acting like I didn't have a broken foot), my foot is fucked up to this day, and I guess will be for the rest of my life. His break is MUCH worse than mine was.

... Axl misses shows with no excuse whatsoever. Will be interesting to see what he does with some kind of perceived excuse! Although this stage design... perhaps he really will be taking a page from Grohl's book.... which ain't great. GnR isn't singer-sitting-down music to say the least.

Wow.. that's crazy.. I guess the upside is the Seattle show isn't for 4 months.... I don't think the tour starts until July. The most impacted shows will be the Vegas shows (and that fesival.. bonaroo?). Other than those 4 shows he's got about 3 months to heal up for the tour?

Its good for his voice....he sounds great when standing still. When he runs around like a maniac he can be a screeching cat.

AIC just took the stage in Vegas. Im guessing GNR wont start for another 90min

I'm watching the Las Vegas show live now on my computer, and he's seriously sitting in a throne like Dave Grohl did on that last Foos tour. The stream is a bit fuzzy, but it actually might be the exact same throne... It's got lights on it and everything. Would be hard to build in a few days, maybe it was borrowed. glad I didnt spend a pile of $ flying to Vegas for this show. in my humble opinion, it really takes away from the excitement of him running around on the stage, but as Zod pointed out, we've got about 3 to 4 months until Seattle for him to heal!

Also, not to slag on Axl, but releasing that video + having that throne kind of makes him look fairly un-rock n' roll. He does so much to garner that rep, so in my opinion. He should have just said "I broke my foot" and left it at that. Dave Grohl broke his fibula, a decent sized bone (though not weight bearing) in his leg. Whereas Axl seems to have broken his 5th metacarsal (his baby toe)....although I'm sure he's following medical advice, it kind of makes him look wussy to be in that throne with a small baby toe fracture.

He can't catch a break (no pun intended). He should do this. He should do that. He looks like this.

He had a plate and pins put in so it doesn't matter what you characterize it as, it's clearly fairly serious to functioning. You don't need an appendix, but if it bursts, you're in serious trouble.

Props for following through on obligations despite an obstacle. Bodes well for the tour. After he makes it through the Coachella and Mexico City, he has 2 full months before the proper tour starts. Don't expect him to be running around, but hopefully he's somewhat mobile by then. Regardless, it's his vocals I care about not he's dancing, As long as he takes care of himself, it's all good.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
