17 days! Still feeling like this one will be like a "Sleeper in St Louis" type of a show from 2010.

    Should be epic.

I'll be at this show (my 153rd!), and was wondering if anyone is driving from Columbia to New Orleans for JazzFest? My usual travel partners are not making that trek, and I haven't found any cheap flights, so I'd like to hitch a ride and help out with gas, etc. Thanks!

I will be attending Columbia with a buddy and we plan on leaving early Friday morning for New Orelans. The only catch is we have to drive back to Atlanta first to pick up my wife before we depart for New Orleans. I believe the plan is to leave Friday morning around 7 or 8am so that we can be in New Orleans by 6pm Friday evening. If you are still looking for a ride I would definitely consider it we would just need to meet up first. I am also attending Greenville. Super excited for these shows!!

Have 2 tickets Section 228, Row 8, Seats 9,10. Will take less than face. Rather see them go to a 10Clubber than give any # to stubhub. etickets available so can transfer immediately or meet up day of the show.

Can any locals here give advice on parking near the Arena?

Can any locals here give advice on parking near the Arena?

There are a couple of parking lots next to the arena. Not sure what time they will open though as it's used for USC student parking as well. Its not overnight parking for students, so once classes get out spots should open up. I think they charge $10 there. There are also a couple of garages nearby. One is the USC Discovery garage. I'm not sure how availability is for that one. It's right across the street, entering on Park Street. You can probably Google them to find exact info for CLA events. Another is next to the Hilton, entering on Park or College. I work in that area and it seems that parking fills up pretty quickly for both the lots and garages, so you might want to get a spot early. The Vista is within walking distance, so you'd be near bars and restaurants if you needed to kill some time. If you want to try, there are metered spots around the area, especially on Assembly Street, but that can sometimes be a crap shoot. Also, be aware that there is some construction going on near the arena, basically right at the parking lots.

Not sure why anyone would want to, but figured I'd post.

    Edit:
Due to changed circumstances, my extra GA is now spoken for. However, I was not able to help someone coming from Raleigh whom I really wanted to help.

If you have an extra GA, please send me a PM so I can hook you up with this guy. I let him down and want to make sure he gets a ticket since he rearranged his work schedule. Thanks!!

Still buzzing off the Greenville show! Will be in Columbia too! Debating on Raleigh, and maybe a Toronto show(because I'll be in the area on business).
