Where to stay in Quebec city

Going to the show in Quebec. Driving up from Rhode Island.Anyone have some advice on which hotel to stay at? Any places within walking distance? Thanks

    Stay downtown. That's where the Pre Party will be happening. There is a bus stop right outside Pub Galway that takes you directly to the Centre Vidéotron. Not sure if it's every 15/30 minutes. We'll find out soon.

    I like Hotel du Vieux Quebec on St. Jean st., quite nice and a good location.
