I saw them open for Jason Isbell earlier in the month in St. Augustine. Damn good band. Anyone else a fan?

I believe they're under Third Man Records.

    Also saw them opening for Jason Isbell here in Toronto, and also hugely impressed! Fantastic duo. And Jason Isbell really is an astoundingly incredible musician with an equally incredible band.

    Isbell + Shovels & Rope?!? What a night of music :sunglasses:

    Yes, I like 'em. This weekend they're playing an intimate theater in Lafayette, LA where some of our close friends live and who're going to the show. My wife and I seriously considering travelling there to see them play as part of Spring Break but decided it's too far.

    They recorded a 7" for TMR's blue room series but, I think, are on the Dualtone label.
