At previous shows I've heard people talking about sound check. I was wondering how people are able to get into arenas to hear the sound check?

    Sometimes you can hear it just being outside the venue. Some exterior doors will be open so the sound gets out.

    Yep this is how I heard one. The only time I heard PJ play Thin Air and I couldn't even see them :lol:

    Picking up fan club tickets before show. PJ20 night before. Pitt 2013 & St Louis 2014 hours before show...like 4:30 or 5 pm day of.

    I heard You Are, Getaway, Habit, and I think a Springsteen cover soundchecked while picking up 10c tickets in Tulsa. And If I remember correctly it was around mid-afternoon, like 4:30 or 5.

    I heard them sound check Sad from outside of US Bank Arena in Cincinnati...I was excited thinking I'd finally hear it but they never played it of course.

    Standing outside the interior gates of Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland in 2003, you could hear them soundcheck Soldier of Love (which they did not play), and parts of You Are. Back when they used to play more outdoor amphitheaters you could very often hear the soundchecks from the parking lot if you were outside early enough.

    It's a weird feeling that you have when you hear the sound check.
    Do you cover your ears or pretend you don't hear it so you don't ruin the surprise?
