No. I never picked up on that and I wouldn't have to be honest.usamamasan1 said:Rubio blasted trump for writing "honer" instead of "honor"
So I figured you were up to speed since this is a socialist leaning forum that picks up on things like that and runs (albeit slowly) with it.
The subtle dry humour attempt earns you points! Definitely a hell of a lot more clever attempt than most of those other posts of yours.

I feel I should clarify this a little. While I was taught gun safety and taught how to handle a pistol when I was 10 years old, I didn't have access to any guns without parental supervision. My experience in learning to shoot was in a controlled environment at the local gun club with my Dad. I didn't own my first handgun until I was 29.usamamasan1 said:

My dad taught me how to shoot a pistol when I was 10. It was a .22 with one round in it.
Agree and with children
It seems like it could be easy for some on here to imagine 8, 9 and 10 year olds running around with their own, personal handguns. That wasn't the case in my experience. I definitely wasn't packing heat on the playground.
That said, I know there are a lot of irresponsible people out there. Many of them should never be allowed anywhere near guns.If hope can grow from dirt like me, it can be done. - EV0 -

If I havent said it before , I appreciate your perspective and believe we have more in agreement on guns than disagreement.
Yours is a seriousness about the subject, most welcome._____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

West Virginia State Legislature has overridden the governors veto of a bill that allows for PERMITLESS CONCEAL CARRY.
Look for articles from WVa in about 90 days when it takes effect.Post edited by mickeyrat on_____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

Hmm, you are equating a open carry law WITH license with an unlicensed concealed carry law? WTF man.mcgruff10 said:

AZ has this law. If you are a resident of AZ you can openly carry or conceal carry within the state. It's been like that for years.mickeyrat said:

I thought FL had a similar law?0 -
Need a CCW in FL0

Most states have requirements that must be met in order for an individual to carry a concealed firearm. I have absolutely no problem with that.
I'm not a fan of "permitless" concealed carry as it bypasses the screening process that people should be subject to, IMO.
Open carry for those with valid CCW permits is OK in my book too. However, I would personally never carry a firearm openly in public. It invites too much attention and scares some people. If hope can grow from dirt like me, it can be done. - EV0 -
Teach kids to shoot guns - it will suppress curiosity and lower accidental deaths.0

As much as people deride the NRA, they offer youth gun safety programs. If more kids were taught to respect firearms, fewer accidental shootings involving kids would almost certainly be the result. If hope can grow from dirt like me, it can be done. - EV0 -

Which is great. It just requires the parent to exhibit responsible handling as well. If the parent(s) wont , why should the child?mcgruff10 said:
