Their most underrated album in my opinion.pierj53 said:No code for me followed closely than the self-titled album.
Army reserve
Marker in the sand
Come back
Inside job
I know I'm in the minority but that might be the strongest top 4 on any one single album.
Really wish they would play inside job more___________________________________________

.... but it's either Binaural or Riot Act.
And No Code and Yield are up there. And Vitalogy. And S/T (which I agree is insanely underrated).Post edited by PJ_Soul onWith all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
How great is PJ, there's a legit case for any of their albums being the best (maybe not the 2 latest). For me its avocado. One song in particular is really super extra important to me, a couple are only slightly less special, a few are just absolute bangers and the remaining are awesome songs at worst.0

VitalogyThe waiting drove me mad!!!0

I think you can make an argument for Ten, Vs, Vitalogy, No Code and Yield with this. I honestly never started skipping tracks on any of their albums until Riot Act.Like a word misplaced...nothing said...what a waste0

Yield followed by no codeCalgary 04-09-2005
Edmonton 05-09-2005
"A Thousand Ports of light For the Newfoundland...Theres a Kinder gentler American Band"...EV 25/09/050 -
For me, it's Binaural. I love every single song on that record, INCLUDING Evacuation.
then it's:
Vitalogy
No Code
Yield

Ten

No code and yield flip flop for number one depending on the day. Although I think no code as a whole sounds better live.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

What I think is great is every album has its own personality and context to the time period of the world as well as the band. That being said, No Code is my favorite album."...what a different life had i not found this love with you..."0

I wake up thankful every day for Moline and Milwaukee! It was my first time really following a tour, and my goodness, were those ever ones for the ages?! Love both albums equally. Though when they came out and I was an angsty 17-ish year old, I definitely didn't appreciate them for the masterpieces they are.1992-07-21 Vancouver

I'm a huge avocado fan, but their best album is ten I don't even thing it's close. Yield is my personal favorite tho. But if I could choose an album at a show that they sing the most songs from it would def be avocado. I'm tired of 10 live.Post edited by pawlowski1097 on0

Binaural for me is their deepest and darkest recording. There's so many subtleties that you can pick up on with every subsequent listen. Every song on that record is so damn good and it feels like every song is a piece to the puzzle. The way it was recorded truly feels like you are being taken somewhere else. Fatal, In the Moonlight, and Sad should have made it on.Worcester1 13, Worcester2 13, Hartford 13, San Diego 13, Los Angeles1 13, Los Angeles2 13

Here's an interesting bit of knowledge, the self titled album or avocado is the only album (aside from ten) without Brenden O'brianMignelli14 said:How great is PJ, there's a legit case for any of their albums being the best (maybe not the 2 latest). As great as all the others are (well, most of them) it'll always be a toss up between Ten and Vs for me.0
-
I think they're all pretty great but if I had to choose 1, it would probably by Vs. Has a nice diverse range of what Pearl Jam is capable of. Hard, soft, mid tempo, sing-alongs, etc.0
