Going to Boston for PJ - Good food places?
I read that Boston has an incredible food truck program. Yes?
Where are good places for coffee? Dunkin Donuts is good, but I'm thinking about independent places with character and charm. Last time I asked (2006 PJ Tour), many people mentioned Dunkin Donuts.
Other good food places? Good districts to walk around?
What do you think of the bikeshare program?

Go to Zaftigs Deli for breakfast. Order the stuffed french toast. I second zaftigs. They're half sour pickles are still a cherished memory of living down the street.
Food trucks? The restaurants in town will blow them away and you don't have to worry about food poisoning.I'm like an opening band for your mom.0 -
Wow - someone works in the restaurant industry. Food trucks are awesome and a lot have their own places as well like Bon Me, Chicken and Rice and Mei Mei. Mei Mei is sort of near Fenway and is awesome.RoleModelsinBlood31 said:I second zaftigs. They're half sour pickles are still a cherished memory of living down the street.

On my recent trips there, I've loved The Thinking Cup and Presse at Sonsie for coffee.
Presse for breakfast was delightful!

What this man said. Delicious tacos. Also, if you don't mind taking the T (subway), the dim sum in Chinatown is great, and Winsor Dim Sum is a delicious hole in the wall for it.dankind said:El Pelon taqueria about a block away from Fenway Park.
Dunkins is garbage, although I still drink it out of convenience sometimes. Barrington Roasters does a nice job.2003 Mansfield III

If you are into Italian food, the North End is our version of "Little Italy". I've been to several restaurants there, and my favorite, by far, is Ristorante Saraceno. Their Spaghetti al Carbonara is amazing.0

The average high temperature in Boston in August is 81 degrees. I bet that town is just full of energy. I wonder if I should take a week off and tour the coffee shops. There is no such thing as leftover pizza. There is now pizza and later pizza. - anonymous

Grotto in Beacon Hill is another great spot for Italian food if you're trying to stay away from tourist-heavy areas.idreaminred said:If you are into Italian food, the North End is our version of "Little Italy".
