Thank you, hsohi. It's always great to hear feedback on the site. I really love collecting boots and writing up reviews for them. I'm glad it's been useful to many fans.

I couldn't find Buffalo 2013. I went to that show and left feeling that it was good but listening to the boot later I wasn't too impressed. Just wondering your thoughts on Buffalo 2013 since you have reviewed so many boots.

Yup, I agree that MSG 2 in 2010 is the best one available. I would warn you against Moline 2014. It's a good setlist and the idea of No Code being played in its entirety is highly appealing, but the show is actually kind of a mess, unfortunately. I got talked into downloading it myself and I was pretty disappointed with the overall performance - I will never listen to that boot again. Once was enough.

I was also at the Buffalo 2013 show and had similar feelings. Things kinda get off the rails as they try going into a bunch of heavy hitters, but then they dialed it back and it's not bad from there. Still was way more fun in person. The redeeming aspect of the boot is the immaculate Pendulum --> Low Light intro, but that's also in the Charlotte show.
Buffalo is one of the arguments I would make for including some arena echo / crowd noise in the mix, because pristine soundboard audio often loses a bunch of energy and every single flaw is telegraphed clearly. That and Ed has been doing so much crowd participation stuff lately.

That link is the review Ian wrote for the Buffalo 13 bootleg. He enjoyed it. I listened to most of it when it first came out. I had the same thoughts you did, I wasn't too impressed with it as a boot. I thought the setlist was really cool, but the performance wasn't quite there. That being said, I have been wanting to listen to it again to see if my opinion changed. If you had a good time at the show and enjoyed it there, anytime you listen to the boot, try to just let it take you back there to when you were at the gig. Try not to worry and over analyze it if it doesn't translate to audio recording.

I had the same thoughts on Moline 2014 from a bootleg point of view; it doesn't hold up well performance wise.
Thank you kindly! I appreciate it. I know Ian does too, he's written countless great reviews on the site. Brandon's reviews, while not as much in quantity, are top quality as well.

There are definitely mistakes throughout. But Hartford 08 was the same and I enjoy both shows.
Hartford '08 was a blast. Glad I was able to make it to that show. Also one of the best Wishlist Foundation pre parties EVER!!
I didn't go to Moline. Wish I did. If No Code though wasn't played in it's entirely, do you think it would get so much praise as it does today? I am surprised it does while there's no big praise on the Yield show @ Milwaukee '14.
If you need a SA boot, get Buenos Aires 2011 or 2015..amazing..

From the videos I have watched on youtube Newark 2010 is an A+ show. Played Alone, I got Shit, Brother, In Hiding....Would have been the perfect show for me.

I was thinking, maybe a few screws loose. lol
We're you two there at that show? If you were, I totally undrstand why you'd say that. A boot of a show that were at is always at a whole other level. If you weren't there, then I don't get where you're coming from!
